Fronted by powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Chloe Marks, this five-piece Brisbane-based band unites some of the city’s most seasoned and electrifying musicians. What began as Chloe’s solo project has evolved into a full-force musical outfit, one that’s already released four chart-topping singles in 2025, with an album fast approaching in 2026.
Known for their high-energy performances and undeniable stage presence, Chloe Marks & The Mayhem have brought their sound to major stages including Town & Country (2024 & 2025), Urban Country Music Festival 2025, Tamworth CMF 2025 & 2026, and Groundwater Country Music Festival 2025. Each member adds their own spark to the fire, creating a dynamic chemistry that drives their sound - raw, real, and relentlessly captivating both on stage and in the studio.
Chloe cut her teeth as a teenage drummer and solo performer in Far North Queensland before carving out a path across the country in various bands and genres. But with The Mayhem behind her, her vision has found its loudest and most authentic voice yet.
Chloe Marks & The Mayhem have stormed onto the Australian country scene with undeniable energy and momentum. Kicking oQ 2025 with their debut single “Carolina”, the band quickly followed it up with “Skip September”, which climbed the country charts to reach an impressive #12 on the Tasman Oz CMR Country Airplay Chart. After that, they quietly released “Porch Light” which embraced a new mood and direction for the band and quickly followed it with their final release for 2025 “Cheaper Than Therapy”. This single cracked the CountryTown top 50, coming in at #43 on the CT charts. It was also #8 on ABC Country Most Played, #9 in top streams on Play MPE Charts and & #14 in top downloads. It was also the first of the bands song to debuted on the AMRAP Community Radio Regional Airplay Charts (all genres) landing at #14 in December 2025.
After placing 3rd in the 2024 Ekka Country Showdown, Chloe continued to build on that success, advancing to the semi-finals of the Mothertone Talent Search at Gympie Muster 2025. From there, the band turned heads at the Urban Country Music Festival 2025, debuting eight brand-new original tracks as part of their first major festival lineup. The momentum didn’t stop there...they went on to deliver three electric performances at Groundwater Country Music Festival 2025, and have landed 7 shows at Tamworth CMF26, further cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Australian country music.
With more releases, shows and news on the horizon, and a live show that hits like a freight train full of feeling, Chloe Marks & The Mayhem are making it loud and clear... this is only the beginning.

We stumbled across Chloe Marks & The Mayhem in late 2023 or early 2024, and we were HOOKED from the first show! That is one talented bunch of musicians, so to have them all in one band is just mind-blowing! Their sets are high energy, unique, and they don’t play the same old songs as other bands! Think older Chris Stapleton, some 90’s country, a little Don Williams, newer stuff the crowds want to hear, and their originals are PHENOMENAL! “Skip September” and “Carolina” are so fun to sing and dance to, and “Ayodele” is such a cool song! Honestly, you can’t find a better country band, and you can tell that they really enjoy playing together. 💕 It doesn’t matter what they’re playing—you’ll have fun! They have such an amazing range of country songs, and they’re pretty badass at rock & blues stuff when they’re playing in places that are less country, too! 🎸🤠
Chloe Marks and the Mayhem somehow get better with every single show. It’s complete and utter mayhem in the best way possible, but somehow every performance still feels entirely unique. Chloe has this voice that sounds like liquid amber warm, rich and impossible not to get lost in. And as a group, there’s something about them that just makes you feel comfortable, like you’ve walked into a room full of old friends. You don’t feel like someone standing in a crowd just watching a show. You feel like a friend sitting in on a jam session that accidentally turned into something magical.
